Hiring trained and qualified workers is a giant hurdle for New Jersey-based manufacturing companies. It is a multi-faceted problem with no easy solutions and is unlikely to disappear anytime soon.
We've begun to work closely with OCVTS to keep NJTMA members informed of the courses and career paths its students are on, and to connect those students with NJTMA members who are actively looking to fill open job positions at their companies.
OCVTS should be considered a local, easily accessible and valuable talent pipeline NJTMA members can work with to help with their employment needs.
